bible study time.

 I am doing a Psalms 119 study. I decided to go with this cute study book I got from amazon. It is called "Be still my Soul, 90 day bible study coloring journal". I love to color and study so it works for me.

Anyway we do just the 8 verses a day for 22 days. That is the Hebrew alphabet at the beginning of each 8 verses. I have read through this Psalm many times but this time I am making it a meaningful study about being in the word and obeying it.  Just love it!  UPDATE I did finish this study also at the end of may.   

Psalm 119: 1-4

1 Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are the undefiled (the upright, truly sincere, and blameless) in the way [of the revealed will of God], who walk (order their conduct and conversation) in the law of the Lord (the whole of God’s revealed will).

2 Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are they who keep His testimonies, and who seek, inquire for and of Him and crave Him with the whole heart.

3 Yes, they do no unrighteousness [no willful wandering from His precepts]; they walk in His ways.

4 You have commanded us to keep Your precepts, that we should observe them diligently.     

 I hope you are in the word daily not because you have too, but because you GET too!

This is Blue Birds laundry in the Romantic Country coloring book
I followed along with Chris Chang's videos an learned a lot about coloring and choices. Couldn't wait to get this done! It was fun. I just worked on it a little at a time for about a week. I just had to add this verse as it fit so well. Col 3:23 

This is a Coloring page in the Philippians study guide from timewarpwife. With the Lord in our hearts we can always have His joy too no matter what the circumstances are. So we can rejoice always knowing he is with us through it all.

I didn't reallize it has been so long since I posted on here, time gets away so fast.

Scripture Journal,Ecc. Study and coloring page

This is a nice Cambrige journal/binder that I got at a thrift store for $2.00 a while back. I am going to use it now for mainly scripture writing.

I am adding 24 lb beautiful colored paper to my scripture journal. I bought the paper and just cut it in half. I just love color and this will make it a lot more interesting and fun

 Ecc. Study. It is going to be very good. I learned that the purpose of this book is to make us realize that our confidence in our own efforts, abilities and our own righteousness is meaningless without the Lord directing our lives by his Spirit! There is no satisfaction in life apart from God in our life! Let us commit all we do and say to him and let him led us today! 

Womenlivingwell Ecclesiastes Bible study officially started today. I am also reading a devotional by Ray Stedman The Power of His Presence a very good book. There is a section that goes through Ecc. Life is so meaningless without the Lord in our life. He gives us His word and understanding, a hope, a future, contentment, and a joy in life. I am so thankful to know Our lord and savior Jesus and to have His Spirit that lives in me! Hope you will join in the Ecc. Study!

New Book and wk 2 in study

This is a new release. I just love this little book. It is a short to the point devotional, 390 pages with A coloring illustration on every page and a place to journal or write a prayer. It is only $10.88 at Amazon. I have a journaling bible and can't justify an Inspire bible just for the pictures so this is perfect!‪ 

Amazon will be releasing more of these on May 15th. I got mine because I preordered it.

This is one of the pages for the start of May. It is in soft grays, so I used soft Pastels to color it. I just love how it turned out.

Bible study, and Coloring

The new bible study with Time Warp Wife (see side bar for link) started this week. I printed out the study and also made my own study and prayer sheet. It works better for me!

I finished this weeks study and the coloring pages that go with it. This is another really good study from Darlene and I am really enjoying it.

This was a really fun coloring page from the Enchanted Forest Coloring book. I had to really think about all the color choices. Some good and some not so good.

I also finished writing out the book of Philippians on both sides of the papers. I just ignored the dates and lines and squares on these HP pages. Not sure what is next yet.

We have been very busy with the nice weather and being out side with yard projects. Also have some home improvement going on too on the inside, And doing things with the grandchildren. Soon school will be out and we get to do fun stuff with the kids and family!

coloring pages

 I have been enjoying coloring so much lately. I enjoy using all the colors while I listen to a bible teacher or inspiring music in the evenings. The days are still cold and crazy in the spring here. But when summer comes it will be so nice to be outside again doing other things. These 2 pages are in the Joy for the Journey coloring book.

 I was going for a quilted look on this page.

This is another free printout from The Time Warp Wife. Week 4, lesson 1. It was fun to add some drawing to this and to color, always a challenge.

Bible studies,coloring and etc

 I am still working on the Faith and Provision study with one more week to go after this. These are free printables and the one on  the right is a coloring page that I colored. I love the roses.

 This is the start of week three and a mother coloring page. We get 2 of them a week.

This is week 11 in Documented Faith group and a free printable that Stephanie Ackerman did on the left and I colored it. I did my study in  an app and printed it out.

Oh happy spring, I am so glad it is here. Even though the spring weather is a little crazy. So I had to write a little about it in my journal and paint some flowers. we see how much I get done next week as we have to have some work done in the kitchen.

WK 8 DF-coloring book- journal

This is last weeks Documented Faith pages, still the theme is loving others. I drew out the boxes on the left and then watercolored them. I used yellow chalk around the edges and whipping it off to give it a faint color. then on the right is the lesson print out that I drew on and did some doodles. I glued it on some yellow paper to make it the right size for the journal.

This is a a coloring page I did in the coloring book Joy For The Journey. Such a nice book. 

This is last week in my journal.  I also use chalk and rub it into the paper to give just a hint of color.

Last Saturday we celebrated our 56th Wedding Anniversary. My how time fly's!!! 

This is wk-7 in my gratitude52 art journal. The prompt was Music! I used watercolors for the background on wet paper. I put it on my autoharp for the picture as it was fitting. I don't play it much anymore as the keys are hard to push down for me now. But I do love it and music too!

Wk 5 art journal pages

I drew this page on the left and use it to SOAP the scripture of the week in DF. On the right is a print out of DF that I colored.

 I am doing different thing for my art journal weekly page. I saw someone else do a page like this and just had to give it a try. The hearts are a print out that we got for a February divider. I love how cheerful the colors are! 

This is a coloring page I did today on a quite Sunday afternoon. I love using chalk for a soft background color. This is Joy for the Journey coloring book.
