Scriptures of the Month of September

I have been doing a 4 wk scripture writing on Contentment with the Reset girl in her group Faithful life club on FB. but I have been a week ahead ever since I started. So I am finished for Sept. I have 2 other bible studies going so I didn't want to get behind. We only did 4 verses in just 4 days in a wk so it was very easy and gave me time to be a little creative. These are the pictures of the 4 weeks. The verses were very helpful as I was reminded that it is the lords will that we be content in all things knowing He is in control and working all the time for our best.
Isa 26:3 "You will keep me in perfect peace, when my mind is stayed on you because I am trusting in you Lord".
And "Godliness and contentment are great gain", 1 Tim6:6
There are lots of verses to look up on contentment and I enjoyed the study very much.  I drew out the pages of 1-3 and painted the background on wk4. Then tore the paper around the verses and glued them down.  It is fun to come up with a new idea for each week. Not that it is anything great but just a little creative and artsy.

I start our women's bible study at our church tomorrow morn and I am excited about that.  Glad to be health so I can go this yr.  We will be studying some of Psalms and Proverbs. This is the composition notebook I covered for the study.

This is the first lesson in Psalm 1.
May the Lord bless you this week!

Bible studies,coloring and etc

I am still working on the Faith and Provision study with one more week to go after this. These are free printables and the one on  the right is a coloring page that I colored. I love the roses.

This is the start of week three and a mother coloring page. We get 2 of them a week.

This is week 11 in Documented Faith group and a free printable that Stephanie Ackerman did on the left and I colored it. I did my study in  an app and printed it out.

Oh happy spring, I am so glad it is here. Even though the spring weather is a little crazy. So I had to write a little about it in my journal and paint some flowers. we see how much I get done next week as we have to have some work done in the kitchen.
May you have a blessed creative week!

new bible study

I am doing this new bible study and just wanted to share it with you. It is over at Time Warp Wife web site by Darlene Schacht. It is free and so are all of her beautiful free printable's. She has several studies but this is one of the current ones. A wonderful study on faith and God's provision.

Here are some of the free beautiful Printable's , Lesson plan, scripture cards, etc, including some coloring pages. Now these come on a full size sheet of paper. But I wanted it to fit in this binder so I reduced the size to 60% but next time only 70%. so the size I needed is 6 1/4 x 8 1/2. So you can decide what size you will need or just go for the full size for a regular binder.

This weeks(9) Gratitude52. The theme is "Shoes on my feet" and being thankful for how God provides for all our needs. I did this drawing of shoes 3 yrs ago for the 75 day art challenge and took a picture of it and used it for this weeks prompt. I just thought they were cute!

And this is just last weeks journal pages (using plain paper) in my HP. I am still doing scripture writing on the other weekly pages. I am writing out the book of Philippians right now.
Well that is it for this week, May God bless you richly as you study and be creative!

Group Pages

Week 8 in of Gratitude52 art Journal. the prompt was role model.  I have not had many in my life, but even if I did, there is none as great as Jesus and all He has done and is in my life. I truly thank Him for his continued work he is doing in my life! I love this verse in Philippians 1:6 "I am sure that God, who began a good work within you, will continue His Work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again." We are a work in progress.

This is this weeks(9) verse in Matt 22: 37- 39,  of Documented Faith, on the right. I did this page over a yr ago but I am using it here again. The left is just my weekly art page That I drew so it looks like notepapers on a page, But it isn't.
Wk-9 in Documented Faith group.
Our theme this month is Devotion so I did my own study on it on my iPad and then printed it out. Lessons to learn and to apply! I skipped week 8 as it was too repetitive. The next few weeks may be also as Stephanie Ackerman has had to have surgery and not able to post some of the lessons. We hope and pray she gets well soon.
I have to say that I am so disappointed in bloggers Picture quality here. The same pictures in FB and Instagram as so much clearer. and they always darken down a little here. Maybe blogger will improve in time.  May the Lord bless you this week!

WK 8 DF-coloring book- journal

This is last weeks Documented Faith pages, still the theme is loving others. I drew out the boxes on the left and then watercolored them. I used yellow chalk around the edges and whipping it off to give it a faint color. then on the right is the lesson print out that I drew on and did some doodles. I glued it on some yellow paper to make it the right size for the journal.

This is a a coloring page I did in the coloring book Joy For The Journey. Such a nice book.

This is last week in my journal.  I also use chalk and rub it into the paper to give just a hint of color.
Last Saturday we celebrated our 56th Wedding Anniversary. My how time fly's!!!
This is wk-7 in my gratitude52 art journal. The prompt was Music! I used watercolors for the background on wet paper. I put it on my autoharp for the picture as it was fitting. I don't play it much anymore as the keys are hard to push down for me now. But I do love it and music too!
May God Bless you this week with His grace, peace and Joy!!

Drawing and writing

This is my little drawing of wk-6 in my Gratitude52 art journal. The prompt was love and I don't know of any greater love than that of our Lord Jesus Christ that laid down his life for us.

This is chapter Psalm139 I wrote out for last week and Romans 6 for this week. I just love this exercise as I am learning and being reminded of so many things. I could say so much about these two chapters but best that when you get a chance, to read them for your selves, or to write them out yourself. They are awesome!
Hope you are having a Blessed creative week! ❤️

New page in HP and DF wk 7

I thought I would try making my own planner/journal page with plain paper divided into 3rds in my HP. I like it so will try this for awhile. It give me the freedom to do a little more in a larger space. Its like don"t put me in those little boxes.

This is WK-7 of DF about God's Loves.
Click on pic to see it better. Love this study!!
May God bless and your creative day!

Wk 5 art journal pages

I drew this page on the left and use it to SOAP the scripture of the week in DF. On the right is a print out of DF that I colored.

I am doing different thing for my art journal weekly page. I saw someone else do a page like this and just had to give it a try. The hearts are a print out that we got for a February divider. I love how cheerful the colors are!

This is a coloring page I did today on a quite Sunday afternoon. I love using chalk for a soft background color. This is Joy for the Journey coloring book.
May God bless you day!

Happy Planner and DF

Just a short post here. Last week in my Happy Planner I did some scripture writings on Psalm 119. I made the days horizontal again. That will be this months theme. This week I will be writing verses on Love.

I posted half of the study last time, but finished the other side. I love this prayer so I printed out another copy of it and reduced it to 75% and made a card for a friend of mine. I colored it at the same way. It turned out nice.
Have a very blessed creative day!

Documented Faith- week 4

Wk 4 in my group Art Journal. I am showing DF study on the right that I did. I took the print out for the week and did the borders, doodles, highlighting on it. On the back, below, I looked up three different versions of the scripture and some notes. I put them in Notability app and then printed them out with some more doodling around the edges. I was happier with the left side this week as I am starting to get a little neater in my writing, or should I say in printing which is hard for me.

In the HP I wrote out more songs from church that I really like. The first one is Good Morning Lord by clay Cross and is my favorite song and a wonderful prayer.

This is another print out from Stephanie Ackerman, DF, that was part of lesson three. This is another very nice prayer. I added to it a bit and colored it. I am just really enjoying this a lot.
I hope you will join in too!
May God bless your day!

Week 3 art journal-groups

Week 3 of doing my group art journaling. In Documented life project we were to list ten of our favorite book that made a difference in our life.  Also to include a picture with words (I included that on the back(. Then in the other, Documented faith and Take me Deeper I decided to write about what it means to have God in my life and what He means to me to me on one page. The nice thing is you can do what ever you want or how the Lord directs you in these groups. The prompts are just suggestions. It is so interesting how different each week is from the next. So I am learning as I go. I hope you will join in on one of the groups. It is fun.

In the Happy Planner I wrote out some of my favorite hymns on each day. Again I use Felicity French's art work that I had her permission to use. It is my theme this mo to use scripture or music in the HP.
May the Lord bless you this new week!

Group art Week 2

Wk 2 I have combined the 3 groups I am doing, on one art page and keeping track of them on the weekly page. Those are TMD- DLP - DF. I also am doing gratitude 52 but in its own art book. All fun stuff!

This is week 1 of the gratitude 52 challenge. the flowers is a stamp I have, but had to stamp it on paper and then add it and color it.
Have a blessed creative week!
