Page 13 - Spiritual Art Journal

I made this page this week for my art journal. I downloaded this music at Little Birdie Blessings.
Amazing Grace an awsome song! I just love it.
I used watercolors for the background and used some old floral napkins I had and glued them down.
When using napkins you must seperate the layers and use the very thin top layer.
I still need to learn how to glue things and not get wrinkles. But I can weight it down and make my paper flat.

FOR BY GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED, IT IS A GIFT OF GOD.
EPH 2;18

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.

T'was Grace that taught...
my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear...
the hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares...
we have already come.
T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far...
and Grace will lead us home.

The Lord has promised good to me...
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be...
as long as life endures.

When we've been here ten thousand years...
bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise...
then when we've first begun.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.

Hi Sharon,

I just love how you use the hymns in your art journal. I've been so frustrated with our church removing the singing of hymns and only singing choruses. I'm not against the choruses, but we still need those hymns. Art journaling with them is such a wonderful way to express love for them and the Lord. I hope you don't mind if I take your idea and start doing this in my art journal in my own way, of course. Thanks for inspiring me. Linda E.
