I am back and doing a little art again. I have had a battle with the Shingles for 2 mo. But I am all over it now Praise God!
This page is on a study I did from one of John Mac Arthur's studies on Eph 3:14-21 called Turning on spiritual power. It was written in 1981. It is about Paul's prayer for Spiritual growth. He said this prayer is the key passage bridging the first and second sections on the book. The first three ch describe the resources of the believer and the last 3 describe how the believer is to live. So this part is where the power gets turned on. anyway here is the prayer on my page:
"For this cause I bow my knees unto the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, That of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthen with might by His Spirit in the inner man; ( in order ) that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend, with all saints, what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height, and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, ( in order ) that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us, unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.
Amen" Ephesians 3:14-21
God, in His totality, lives in me and wants to fill me with all of His person, His characteristics, and His attributes. What an incredible thought!
God never intended Christians to function on half a tank- we are to be Full, full of His fullness by the Holy Spirit. It is our choice.
