My First oil painting

This oil painting was my very first oil. I think I was about 23 and had two little boys. I painted it at the kitchen table. We lived in a 12'x47' trailer at the time. But I quickly found out that little boys liked to get in to the paints and things. So I didn't paint very much till they got a little older. It was just to tempting for them,

 and oils are very messy.

 My mother was artistic and liked to paint desert scenes. She was an Arizona gal. So I painted desert scenes too at first.
